Lilypad Insurance Holdings is pleased to announce the successful completion of its acquisition of Centauri Specialty Insurance Company and Centauri National Insurance Company, following the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.
Lilypad Insurance Holdings announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Centauri Specialty Insurance Company and Centauri National Insurance Company, effective September 30, 2024, following receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.
The strategic acquisition strengthens Lilypad’s position in the coastal property insurance market while building on Centauri’s extensive industry experience. Centauri Insurance, established in 2011 by Ricardo Espino, is recognized for its property and casualty insurance products and will continue operating under Lilypad Insurance.

Centauri Insurance currently serves policyholders across seven states: Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas.
